Of course I'm working on my recaps of Made in the A.M. And I have 3 good reasons:
1 It brings Christine joy
2 I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS
3 It's tradition?

Fun story before I start my End of the Day commentary; before I listened to the album because it had leaked but I didn't have it yet I saw a tumblr post with like, the signs assigned to phrases, some were "want what you want" "say what you say" and Virgo was in the "love who you love" category, and I hadn't heard the song so I didn't know what that meant, but of course I was like, sure sure that sounds right. AND THEN I HEARD THE SONG and guess what, YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE, THERE AIN'T NO OTHER WAY.

End of the Day:

I set you on fire babe  This part of the song is like, dancey. Almost like a latin dance feel, but not quite, but definitely a dance with like side step, hip swaying you know?

Right here I swear it's like a cut to a different song, the chorus is in such a different style BUT IT'S MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG even though the first few times I heard it I was thrown off by the change so much that I couldn't decide if I liked it or not

Another fun story about this song. I took that Buzzfeed quiz about Which One Direction Album is Really your Favorite, and it was like, of these songs which is your favorite, for each question, and when I saw End of the Day as an option all I could think of was AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU'RE ANOTHER DAY OLDER you know, the song from Les Mis. ANyway, I didn't pick it and now I wonder if that messed up the quiz, but also I don't remember what I did pick from that section so maybe I love that choice more I DON'T KNOW.

Hello y'all. OK so I've told everyone that would get mad at me if I didn't tell them I think, but I BOUGHT A HOUSE. Things are so far cleaned and set up to be painted. All I have in there is a rug, a plant, kitchen table and chairs, a bucket, and whole lot of rags to clean up everything. Don't know how long painting is going to take, don't know when I'm moving in.

Basically wake up every day and go, sigh, still not done with house. And then I lay in bed not wanting to get up and then I have to hurry to get ready to leave by 7:30 it's a fun game.

There's no one in the Accounting department where I am right now, basically much of the building is a ghost town. It's Friday, people don't work on Friday. Lathan is here today but he told me he doesn't do work on Fridays, hey at least he's here.

Also, I only think of doing One Direction song reviews when I'm driving. So, know that I have thought about finishing that, but haven't and probably won't... maybe I'll jot down the highlights.

I left off at Strong. Like it, good solid song, not really sexual in the undertone department so no embarrassment in the parent zone.

Happily- Makes me think of Christine. Also the Kardashians.

Right Now- Whenever I listen to it I think that they're basically children wanting their parents because "right now everything is new to me" and they're wishing someone was there.

Little Black Dress- Not a big fan. Can't get over the objectification, but it's one of the openers for the tour so, yeah.

Through the Dark- Favorite song on the album. Maybe. Yeah, Don't Forget Where You Belong is second now, Through the Dark has pulled ahead. Good job song.

Little White Lies- Yeah I like it. Especially the beginning "If this room was burning" part, not just the words, though fire is a plus, but the harmony -ness of it.

Better Than Words- Adorable, love that they wrote it. You go Liam and Louis.

Why Don't We Go There- Okay, catchy and all that, but so much of the sex. Like, they're not going nowhere they might as well go "there" and all that. Obviously I listen to songs where they talk about sex, but this one is just so not obvious that it bugs me. That is all.

Does He Know?- Heh. Does he know your art?

Alive- I'M SO GLAD THIS IS GOING TO BE ON TOUR. 1 worst therapist ever, 2 girl, if he's trying to get into your pants don't ask HIM what you should do, and 3 it's a great song.

Half a Heart- Never have they sounded so British. 'alf a 'eart. It bugs me that they have half an arrow in their chest because why would anyone ever use half an arrow, cupid uses full arrows, snipers that use arrows use whole arrows, explain yourself. Christine doesn't like how they have just one shoe, but that makes sense cause like, they started putting on their shoes and then went, eh, she's gone, and then couldn't be bothered and just started walking around.

I'm eh about the song anyway because it's slow, I have a thing against slow songs. They have to be really good for me to not dislike them. Overall, I like the song. It's got the repetitiveness we all expect of course, but I like the way they sing the word Diana, so that's lucky for me.

Also, I've figured out I can use the computer here at work for things, so even though my phone is inexplicably down to 63% already at 10:00 AM, I can totally review some One Direction songs.
