Of course I'm working on my recaps of Made in the A.M. And I have 3 good reasons:
1 It brings Christine joy
2 I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS
3 It's tradition?

Fun story before I start my End of the Day commentary; before I listened to the album because it had leaked but I didn't have it yet I saw a tumblr post with like, the signs assigned to phrases, some were "want what you want" "say what you say" and Virgo was in the "love who you love" category, and I hadn't heard the song so I didn't know what that meant, but of course I was like, sure sure that sounds right. AND THEN I HEARD THE SONG and guess what, YOU LOVE WHO YOU LOVE, THERE AIN'T NO OTHER WAY.

End of the Day:

I set you on fire babe  This part of the song is like, dancey. Almost like a latin dance feel, but not quite, but definitely a dance with like side step, hip swaying you know?

Right here I swear it's like a cut to a different song, the chorus is in such a different style BUT IT'S MY FAVORITE PART OF THE SONG even though the first few times I heard it I was thrown off by the change so much that I couldn't decide if I liked it or not

Another fun story about this song. I took that Buzzfeed quiz about Which One Direction Album is Really your Favorite, and it was like, of these songs which is your favorite, for each question, and when I saw End of the Day as an option all I could think of was AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU'RE ANOTHER DAY OLDER you know, the song from Les Mis. ANyway, I didn't pick it and now I wonder if that messed up the quiz, but also I don't remember what I did pick from that section so maybe I love that choice more I DON'T KNOW.

Also, fun news for me anyway, I went to the Campus Union last night and saw Burnie Burns speaking in real life and we got to see a clip from Lazer Team and he talked about his life and starting RoosterTeeth and there were fun embarrassing pictures of like Geoff and Gus and stuff and it was fun. I'm guessing it was also *inspirational* and all too, but I'm not so great at being a content creator so mostly I was there for the seeing Burnie Burns IRL aspect.

I did have an idea for a blog when I was there, because he was talking about the evolution of the internet and how they like fill new niches and find areas that aren't already being filled with competition, and I was like, hey I'm at work and run out of things I can do on the internet because a lot of content is audio/video based and I can't watch videos while working so what the internet needs is stuff to read at work. But then I realised, I don't even post here on my existing blog and also I'm the worst.

It's not necessarily about Zayn, I mean these songs are written to be relatable and applicable to more than one situation right? Therefore, CAN apply to the Zayn/1D breakup, but not exclusively. It just happened to come to mind when I listened to it, that's all.

Sleepy Friday

I've been thinking about how my eyes look tired all the time. It's the bags under my eyes. Maybe I should sleep more, maybe I should use make up, which I have, but do not wake up in time to use. See I've got a choice, sleep more and look more tired, or sleep less and feel more tired but not have bags under my eyes.

Basically like this, but with out the rogue dog.

Speaking of dogs. Need one.

But I've noticed also that when I smile you can't see the bags under my eyes so I guess I'm going with option three: sleep too late in the morning and have bags under my eyes, but smile at everyone so they don't see them. Boom. Roasted. (Except, man, so much smiling. People think I'm such a happy person.)
